THE Ninth edition of HOW TO BE A YOGI having been completely sold out,
we are compelled to bring out the present edition of the book even in this hard
time when the price of the paper and other printing and binding materials have
gone up four or five times above the normal price.

IN this edition some of the Sanskrit references, detailed contents and an index
of the important words have been added.

THE beautiful picture of Yogiswara Siva on the flap has been very appropriately
designed and nicely drawn by the far - famed artist Sj. Nandalfil Bose, the
Director, Kalabhavan, Visvabhfirati. We tender him our sincere thanks for his
kind contribution which undoubtedly has added to the,beauty and sublimity of the
subject’matter of the book.
